The USS Beifong is a Defiant class starship assigned to exploration duty in the Gamma Quadrant. The simulation is a member of Bravo Fleet as well as the Split World Alliance.

The Beifong is an unusual simulation, as its commanding officer was once it's chief medical officer. The ship is seemingly crewed with mostly inexperienced ensigns and lieutenants, all of whom have no idea just what's in store for them as they continue the Beifong's mission.
