And now some Q&A!

What is Mumble?

Mumble is an open source, low-latency, high quality voice chat software primarily intended for use while gaming.

Why use Mumble?

Because of the low latency, audio options, and lightweight client. It's also very easy to use.

Where do I get Mumble?

Please download the latest version from the page at this link.

How do I install Mumble?

Please use the instructions from this page.

How do I add a server?

That's easier than you might think! Once you have Mumble installed and have finished your setup (it should trigger automatically the first time you open Mumble), look at the bottom of your Mumble window. There's a button there that says “Add New…”

See the bit at the beginning of the page about the server address and port? Plug those into the appropriate fields, choose a username, and click the “Ok” button. If one of us is online, we'll drag you on into the room when we see you connect.

This process should save the SWA server as one of your favorites, making it easy to find again!
